Sheldon Zou and his wife, Linda, immigrated from China to farm these 4,000 acres near Ogema, Sask. This story marked the first time one of my photos ran above the fold on the cover of The Globe and Mail. This photo, which is not the photo that ran on the cover, ran inside on the cover of the business section and has since been licensed for use in several social studies textbooks. I like it for the same reason as the textbook editors: it shows the changing face of Saskatchewan.
